Student Affairs and Wellbeing (SAW)
From Orientation to Graduation, the Office of Student Affairs and Wellbeing (SAW) is available to assist you in your journey through medical school. We support the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine’s mission by fostering students’ academic, professional, and personal growth in a safe and caring environment.
The Office promotes student engagement and participation in the social, cultural, and intellectual life at HMSOM. We also serve as the principal advisor to student groups, specialty interest groups, clubs, and organizations.
We provide a supportive learning environment through our extensive academic advising, professional development and wellness programs, accessibility services, and celebrations of major milestone achievements. Our goal is to empower your experience and growth as you transition from medical training to a fulfilling career in medicine.
