Mission
The CORAL (Curriculum Outcomes, Research, and Accreditation for LCME) team’s mission is to ensure the quality and impact of the HMSOM curriculum through rigorous outcomes research and evaluation, proactive management of the Curriculum Management Plan and LCME accreditation process, and support of data-driven continuous quality improvement.

Medical Educational Research & Evaluation

Our work informs internal quality improvement and contributes to the broader medical education community through peer-reviewed dissemination.
longMED
CORAL fosters the strategic development of longMED, HMSOM's longitudinal medical education database, and supports its use for high-impact research and evaluation.
Curriculum Management Plan (CMP) Oversight
CORAL oversees the implementation of the Curriculum Management Plan to ensure its systems, processes, and execution are guiding continuous improvement of the curriculum. Our oversight ensures that curricular decisions are evidence-informed and aligned with the school's intended learner outcomes, accreditation requirements, and institutional mission.
